The cosmetics company has made the decision to close its retail stores in the United States. The announcement was made on Twitter and thanked staff "for their passion, talent and dedication over the years."
Brick and Mortar stores took a hit during the COVID pandemic as the majority of sales moved online after lockdowns were implemented across the world.
Founded in 2008 in Los Angeles, Morphe retailed makeup and beauty products at more attrative prices than the competition. The company rose to popularity after collaborating with influencers to release signature collections including Jaclyn Hill, Nyane Lebajoa, Jefree Starr, James Charles and Pony.
