The ABC Network's Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration has aired as a live and animated adaptation of the classic love story featuring Gabriella Wilson (stage name H.E.R) as Belle, Josh Groban as the Beast and Shania Twain as Mrs. Potts.
H.E.R has also made history as the first black and Filipino woman to play the role of Belle.
Costume designer Marina Toybina was given the daunting task of reimagining and recreating the costumes of the chracters including transforming actor Josh Groban into the Beast, a combination of clothes and technology used to bring the character to life. She wrote in an Instagram post that "There's so much technical side to these costumes, the entire show for us has been about creating wearable art."
Gabriella also stunned in all of her costumes, including Belle's trademark yellow gown.
Marina's amazing work can also be seen in the Masked Singer, The Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show with Katy Perry, So You Think You Can Dance and The 55th Annual Grammy Awards. She is also a 6 time Emmy award for costume design.
